The Technology Club at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business is one of the largest and most active professional clubs on campus. Tech is the 2nd largest industry at Wharton, and continues to grow every year.
A career in technology can overlap to mean many things - eCommerce, Software, Hardware, Telecom, Electronics, HealthCare IT, Consumer Electronics, Digital Media, etc. and we at the Tech Club seek to provide education and opportunities to our members. While the Wharton school was traditionally a finance institution, the most popular functions in a technology career are Product Management, Strategy, Business Development, and Marketing.
Our mission is to educate our 450+ members on the latest technology trends, innovations and disruptions, increase the number and quality of networking and recruiting opportunities with technology companies, and strengthen the Wharton brand in technology and technology-dependent industries.
The Tech Club provides resources to its members through Tuesday Lunchtime Seminars (Tech Tuesdays), Weekly industry newsletters, Recruiting and Interview workshops, Mentorships, Industry Quizzes, Treks, Happy hours, Social events, the BizTech Conference, Tech Case Competition and much more.
